It seeks to undermine or mix messages so creating a confusion that forces a questioning of our notions of 'normal' relationships with body, space, time and art. In doing this, it seeks to create a shift in perception. Rachel's interest in theatre circus and many visual artists have informed her work that explores the nature of performance, ideas of public and private space, and body as object, part of the natural world.
