QUBIC is a cosmology experiment dedicated to the measurement of the B-mode polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). QUBIC is an international collaboration between France, Italy, U.K. and U.S.A., that results from the merging of the BRAIN and MBI collaborations. The QUBIC instrument is based on bolometric interferometry, a novel technology that is a promising alternative to direct imaging.
