Lambda Phi Epsilon – UC Davis Lambda Phi Epsilon on the UC Davis campus was founded on September 4, 1985. The force behind this emergence of the UC Davis Chapter was Timothy Kan. He began the fraternity as a social outlet to the Asian students on campus. The rationale was that Lambda Phi Epsilon would provide Asian students the opportunity to participate in the Greek system without feeling like a token of the house and without losing their heritage in order to fit in.
