waal versus floor | amanda waal waal versus floor is the New York based company of performer and designer Amanda Waal. Waal studiedballet with Kathryn Irey, modern dance with Jean Isaacs and improvisation with Nina Martin. Waal’s performance pieceshave been shown in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and New York. In addition to her own work as a dancer, she has performed with Kim Epifano, Keith Hennessy, LowerLeft, Joe Alter, ad hoc ballet and Leslie Seiters.
