Manjari Chatterjee Miller's Web Site I am a sixth year Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University. I am also a graduate student affiliate of the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs. My research focuses on international relations with an emphasis on international security and the historical and ideational sources of foreign policy in India and China . My dissertation, Historical Memory and Post-Imperial Ideology: Foreign Policy Decision-making in India and China, asserts that states that have experienced colonialism are a separate category of actors with unique patterns of behavior in the international system. It argues that due to the transformative experience of imperialism and colonialism, ex-colonies have developed a particular strategic ideology—post-imperial ideology—under which foreign policy choices are made. As a FLAS recipient and with the help of grants from the South Asia Initiative and Fairbank Center, I have conducted archival research and interviews in both India (New Delhi) and China (Beijing, Nanjing) over the past two years. I am also interested in the history and development of health systems and policies in India and China and am working with Profs David Bloom and Tarun Khanna on the India-China Health Project supported by the South Asia Initiative at Harvard University.I was born in India and grew up in India, Kenya and the UK. I did my undergraduate work at Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and was awarded a Master's degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies, Manjarimiller.com~Site InfoWhoisTrace RouteRBL Check
