Welcome to Simba and Aset- Where Marginalized Youth emerge into leadership and success through education The mission of SIMBA Academy and ASET Female Empowerment Group is to create an environment where marginalized youths that meet the various legal categories of homelessness are nurtured, supported and encouraged to achieve despite the barriers that they encounter. Through gender specific group activities, healthy pro-social recreation, leadership development and academic monitoring, advocacy and counseling we increase the resiliency enhancing factors in all of our participating youths. We believe that when youths who share identical social issues (homeless) have a safe space that addresses their needs from a holistic perspective they will flourish, grow and succeed.
