Roger McGowen - Index Roger McGowen is an innocent Black American who has spent 20 years on Texas Death Row in Polunsky Unit in Livingston Texas. An international group dedicated to supporting Roger’s defence and ultimately freeing him from his unjust imprisonment maintains the Web Site, www.rogermcgowen.org. The website also provides information on the issue of Lethal Injection, the operation of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals as well as the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Texas relating to Roger’s case. This Website features a book written by Pierre Pradervand based on letters written by Roger McGowen entitled “Letters of Life from Death Row” originally published in French, then Dutch and soon to be published in English.
