Manufacturing, export, employment, support and advocacy | New Zealand Manufacturers and Exporters Association (NZMEA) The NZMEA was formed through the merger of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association (CMA) and the New Zealand Engineers Federation (NZEF) in 2007. The CMA was founded in 1879 and the NZEF in 1945. The Association is focused on manufacturing and export issues. From our early history those who volunteered to provide governance for the Association sought to encourage and support manufacturing and exporting in New Zealand.
