Women In Technology | Information Technology Training for Women, Womens Participation, WIT, Workforce, Entrepreneurship, Empowerment Women In Technology strives to empower women and expand their participation in the workforce by providing partner organizations, and the women they serve, with cutting-edge curricula and training opportunities in business planning, professional development and information technology. Women In Technology has trained over 3,000 women and built the capacity of 40 local women’s organizations in the Middle East since 2005. Women in Technology for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region is funded by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) of the U.S. Department of State, managed by the Institute of International Education (IIE) West Coast Center and implemented in collaboration with local partners in nine countries: Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Yemen.
