Welcome to The East Shore District Health Department Website The East Shore District Health Department is an independent governmental entity committed to improving the health and well being of the residents of its constituent towns. The district was formed in June of 1974 with the towns of Branford, East Haven and North Branford. The Health District provides essential local public health services to a population of over 70,000 residents.
