Or-nah Ran במהלך השנים פעלה אור-נה רן בתחום הפיסול בסביבה, והקימה פרויקטים גדולים ומורכבים. ייחודה בהתייחסות המקיפה למכלול הרבדים של התרבות והסביבה, התייחסות המשלימה את ההיבט האישי. היא אינה מציבה פסל בחוצות, אלא יוצרת אותו בסביבה, מתוכה ולמענה. אופן עבודה זה הופך את יצירותיה, מיד עם לידתן, לנקודות ציון בנוף ולמוקד התייחסות חברתית. בשנים 80-85 התמחתה בפיסול במחלקה לאומנות בבצלאל, ירושלים.
בשנת 2006 סיימה בהצטיינות לימודיה לתואר מוסמך בתרבות הודו עם התמחות בפיסול ההודי. בשנתיים .
Or-nah ran specialized in environmental sculpture, designing and building large and complex projects. Her uniqueness is manifested by her empathic holistic approach toward cultural and environmental matrix, which completes her individual perspective. She doesn't simply plant an object in the open; rather she sculpts within each specific environment, from it and for it. This method turns her creations, as soon as they’re born, into landmarks within the landscape and points of social reference. From 1980 until 1985 she majored in sculpture at the Art department of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem In 2006 she graduated, getting a Master degree with excellence in India culture studies, specializing in sculpture.
