Our Integrated Web 2.0 solutions are created using the finest open source tools available. Open Source means "free like a puppy". We don't charge for software at all. Our source of income comes from customizing the tools for your organization, and in making sure that you have an inexpensive way to host and maintain your selected systems. For example, this area utilizes a fast and stable Open Source program called Moodle. We chose Moodle as one component of our Integrated Web 2.0 Solution as it is reliable, flexible, and well documented.
Some organizations use Moodle in combination with wiki collaborative content systems, such as the OpenContent system we built. Or, they use Moodle with a data analysis tool such as the new DART product. Others may use new Web 2.0 tools for ePortfolio construction, such as our Elgg installation.
We are a leading company in providing support for integrating these types of systems. In fact, we are active in the design in development of several of the Open Source solutions that we recommend, and nobody knows them better.
Our Integrated Web 2.0 solution packages combine a number of Open Source solutions to support eLearning, distance education, collaborative curriculum development and construction, and new media communications for schools, school districts and other organizations.
Although each set of recommended Integrated Web 2.0 solutions is unique, as it reflects the goals and needs of the client, they are based on Open Source tools that solve, rather than perpetuate problems.
