Home We are a pair of educators in the Biology Department of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Because of our love of horses (and other farm animals), we are willing to take the 45-minute drive to work in order to have a large acreage with rolling pastures, ponds, streams and miles of riding trails. Our rural location ensures a peaceful ride focusing on the beauty of Nature and the relaxing sounds of hoofbeats, babbling brooks and songbirds.
