Alexander Beasley - Persian Classical Music Alexander Beasley is a professional performer and full-time student of Persian classical music, beginning his study of the traditional art music of Iran after the passing of his wife in 2006. Music has always been a passion for this talented young musician since Alexander studied piano from the age of seven and throughout his upbringing became known for his multi-instrumentalism and improvisational abilities. Alexander currently studies four Persian traditional instruments -- kamancheh, setar, barbat, and daf -- while having performed with various ensembles in the past two years.
