The Gary Grubb Legacy My late husband, Gary Grubb, navigated a six and a half year health odyssey after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer called soft tissue sarcoma, and later suffering the effects of a debilitating stroke. His journey ended on September 27, 2010. Gary regarded himself as a research subject throughout this experience and had the stamina and motivation to objectively follow his own case history even when he suffered pain and fatigue, which was often. He was and continues to be a strong healing influence in many lives. In an effort to honor him and share his gifts and discoveries, I have created this website. Northern Arizona University || National Domestic Violence Fatality Review Initiative The National Domestic Violence Fatality Review Initiative (NDVFRI) is an initiative funded through a grant awarded by the Office on Violence Against Women, US Department of Justice. The NDVFRI is housed in Flagstaff, AZ, at Northern Arizona University.
