Brownfield Redevelopment Program The goal of RPC's Brownfield Redevelopment Program is to assist with the assessment, cleanup and redevelopment of Brownfield sites by providing funding, technical expertise, and guidance through the regulatory process. Funding is restricted to non-responsible parties meeting EPA's requirements, but RPC can provide technical assistance to anyone interested in Brownfield redevelopment in the region.Currently, RPC's grants compliment the City of New Orleans' and Jefferson Parish's grants by focusing on St. Bernard, Plaquemines, and St. Tammany Parishes. RPC also partners with other Brownfields grantees in the Region, including the City of New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, the City of Gretna, City of Westwego, and the Army Corps of Engineers, as well as neighboring South Central Planning and Development Commission and City of Baton Rouge.
