Test results at the conclusion of 1000 miles showed reductions in hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), oxides of nitrogen (NOx), and carbon dioxide (CO2) .In addition to these decreases, the opacity reading (black smoke) was also reduced. Correspondingly, and not surprisingly, fuel economy increased. At the completion of 2000 miles, test results revealed an additional reduction in all previously measured emissions. Specifically, hydrocarbons were reduced by a total of -13.75%, carbon monoxide by -26.2%, NOx by -8.97%, and carbon dioxide by -11.93%. Opacity was reduced by- 22.35%.
