Home | Ed Baker Ed Baker works at the Natural History Museum, London, UK on projects relating to cybertaxonomy, bioinformatics and taxonomy informatics. He is an entomologist interested in the orthopteroid insect orders (polyneoptera) in particular blattodea (cockroaches) and phasmida (stick insects and leaf insects). In addition he works on the Scratchpads project supported initially by the European Distirbuted Institute of Taxonomy (EDIT) and now by ViBRANT and eMonocot (involving knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, mySQL, HTML, CSS and other web technologies).
