Urgent Union SoundSystem - Hire PA Sound System Urgent Union is a collective of acclaimed producers, DJs and artists that hosts events across the UK spreading awareness of our mantra ‘we must unite to form a society whose main aim is to protect its people and its enviroment,’ We are dedicated to keeping the torch of sound system culture burning brightly, inspired by the challenge of pushing sonic and creative boundaries to define the future of sound and create harmony through the unifying power of music. We have a dedicated team with an extensive skill base and the ability to create dynamic events spaces, working with resources available to us. We have put on and assisted in over 100 events ranging from festivals and warehouse parties to fundraisers and jam sessions. Events are collaboration between live musicians and DJ’s of many genres and encourages ‘jamming’ between acts, striking up the free energy of creative expression. We are also involved in a number of youth projects both at the Islington Arts Factory and schools in Islington teaching the positive influences of creativity to the younger generations. The Urgent sound system this year has featured well-known homegrown hip-hop, dub and jungle artists such as Roots Manuva, Dr Das, Adrian Sherwood, Dub FX, Congo Natty, Rodney P and DJ Skitz , Ty, Million Dan plus new dubstep artists Engine-earz as well as many local artists of underground fame more influenced by Latin, dub, Afro-beat, hip-hop and garage.
