Nancy Bowen artist, sculptor, photographer Nancy Bowen, Assistant Professor of Sculpture, is a mixed media sculptor who lives in Brooklyn. Using clay, glass, steel, hair and other unusual materials, her work explores metaphors of the body and other types of organic form. She has had solo exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe and has won awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts and the European Ceramic Work Center. Peralta Sail & Power Squadron > Welcome Aboard As a unit of the United States Power Squadrons, the Peralta Sail and Power Squadron provides free boating classes to the public in three locations around the San Francisco Bay Area: San Leandro, Benicia and San Mateo. In addition to boating education, The Peralta Sail and Power Squadron performs free Vessel Safety Checks.
