I look to capture you in life. Babies sleeping, toddlers wearing their food, these are moments in life to be treasured. Often when we look back at these photos they evoke the biggest smiles, the brightest joy. "It goes by so fast" says it all. To me, each moment in life is a memory to be captured. I have a child of my own, I know each smile is different from the next. It can be difficult to capture the truest of smiles and emotions while in a studio. I know that newborn photos are a must but getting out of the house can be overwhelming. Thats why I come to my clients' homes or another place of their choice, where they are most comfortable, with only my camera.
Some things to think about as you are getting ready for your photo shoot...
Maternity
These photos are best taken between 34 and 38 weeks. In the hour leading up to the
photo shoot it is best to remove any clothing that will leave lines (such as
undergarments). Applying lotion shortly before may cause unwanted reflections.
You may want to have some of the following items at hand: matching solid
undergarments (fitted tank/sports bra, boy cut panties), large solid button down
and a couple solid bottoms.
Newborn
These photos are best taken in the first three weeks. Solid sleepers are always great!
Any special blankie or stuffed animal can be added too.
Children
Solid colors are always the best. Comfortable clothes are a must! You want them as
natural as possible, not trying to get comfortable in their own clothes.
Families
Coordinate colors as much as possible. Dark colors will look more formal.
