SensoPath Technologies, Inc - Home SensoPath Technologies, Inc. (SPT) is a Materials Research and Development company whose diagnostic applications currently focus on the detection and identification of pathogenic agents, including potential bioterror pathogens and naturally occurring food, and water-borne pathogens endemic in our environment. Our core technology involves the design of robust multi-branched dendrimer molecules that can be attached as self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) to a variety of surfaces. When attached to gold surfaces, our proprietary dendrimers can be utilized for detection and identification of a wide variety of biomolecules in surface plasmon resonance (SPR) detectors or in a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) as well as atomic force microscopy formats. They are also available for gold nanoparticle applications. Tethers and proprietary fluorophores developed for these purposes are described in this catalog. They are available for sale and can be readily modified for attachment to surfaces such as glass, quartz, (fiber optic or wave guide sensors) as well as the gold and silicon nitride applications shown. The tethers and fluorophores can be custom designed for specific binding studies involving a ligand and any protein or small molecule having a functional group for attachment to the tether or dye terminus.
