Isabelle de La Touche Isabelle de La Touche was born in 1962 in Paris from a Mexican mother and a French father. Isabelle studied art history at the American University in Paris and followed the anatomy classes of Debord at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. She worked as an apprentice to the Nicaraguaian painter Armando Morales (1984 - 1985). This was her first contact with oil painting.
