Upper-Midwest Area Kitemaking Event A new regional kitemaking retreat is being organized in the Des Moines area the first weekend of March. U-MAKE or Upper-Midwest Area Kitemaking Event will be at the West Des Moines Marriott on Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines, IA. This relaxed retreat will start small with a large sewing project offered, a beginning sewing project, and two different no sew projects.
