Welcome to Upendo Investments Upendo is a Swahili word, which means Love. All over the world, women are known for their great organizational strength – where they organize themselves into groups to achieve diverse objectives. Upendo Women was founded in July 2006 and consists of a group of 16 Kenyan women currently living and working in South Africa. However, two families have since relocated back to Kenya but are still active members of the group. The main objective of the group is to pool our resources together for economic empowerment for we believe that there is strength in numbers and thus we can accomplish much together rather than individually.
