Tears: the short film 2008 Tears is a symbolic surrealistic short film inspired by the fact that nowadays parents separate more often and with less consideration. The film tells the story of a little boy who is suffering from the upcoming divorce of his parents. In this, the mix of live-action and animation plays an important part. By means of blue screen technique, the actors were placed in an artificial world. The result is a short fragmentary symbolic film. In which several old and new techniques of filmmaking, like advanced computer animation and special make- up, are merged.
