wips Western Interior Paleontological Society is located in Denver, CO. This organization educates the membership in the preservation of fossils, collecting in accordance with government regulations, proper field techniques and preparation. Members are encouraged to do research on all aspects of paleontology. Small grants and scholarships are awarded to members who are seriously involved with this science.
