WELCOME TO THE CITY OF ILIGAN Iligan history goes back four centuries ago before Legaspis expedition reached in the Philippines in 1565. It began in Island Kingdom of Panglao, southwest coast
of Bohol. At that time the island of Bohol was covered with virgin forest with two villages. Panglao was the trading center. According to Father Francisco Combes, Jesuit
