Description: The Alzheimer’s Disease Association of the Philippines (ADAP), founded in March 2000 and a member of the Alzheimer’s Disease International in 2002, is an organization composed of persons with dementia and their family caregivers, dedicated doctors with special interest in dementia, allied –medical professionals and others involved in the care of patients. It is the mission of ADAP to assist families through educational programs and support services to optimize quality of life for afflicted individuals and their families; to raise awareness about dementia; to promote advocacy for elderly quality care; and to support research in dementia.
