Description: Coremine Medical is a domain-specific search engine for medical information. It is based on a new search concept that offers the user domain-specific networks. The networks illustrate connections between a search term and related concepts, e.g. diseases, drugs, natural medicines, treatments and side-effects, found from medical literature databases. The user may interactively navigate the networks and can also access an additional list of hits containing related documents from other sources. We divide between primary data sources used for generating the networks, and secondary data sources used for generating hits linked to a term or a relationship in the network.
