Jane Dunnewold ~ Art Cloth Studio The concept of art cloth arose from a related idea-that of -complex cloth.- I wrote a book by that name, which was published in 1996 by Fiber Studio Press, an imprint of Martingale and Company. Complex Cloth details a series of surface design patterning processes, all of which can be combined in endless permutations, to create a cloth surface with richness and visual depth. Deb Karasik ~ Fiber Artist & Teacher - Quilt Mavens Deb started her real quilting passion in November of 2000, when she got a call from one of her daughters, advising Deb, (the daughter...not Deb!) she was pregnant with triplets. She picked up the quilting bug with a passion and joined her local quilt guild (the San Francisco Quilters Guild). It was at the SFQG that she met Janet Mednick, who would later help her write a book for the American Quilters Society, called 'QuiltMavens Perfect Paper Piecing'. Doodle Press - Quilt designs, patterns and books by Cara Gulati Cara Gulati has spent her life around fabric. She has sold fabric and clothes, designed them both and ended up with her own company as a designer and manufacturer of children's wear. Fiber art and quilting in particular grabbed her heart and led her to things of a flatter nature. Cara makes very large art quilts and is currently working on a series called 3-D Explosion. She has written a book and teaches workshops on this design and sewing technique. One quilt in the series, '3-D Party Explosion' won Viewer's Choice at the Houston International Quilt Festival in 2003. Doodlepress.com~Site InfoWhoisTrace RouteRBL Check
