TZ Batiks from Jan Jacobson Welcome to TZ Batiks.com. We are excited to bring to you hand dyed batiks designed by the Miichi (mee-chee) Women s Group of Tanzania, eastern Africa. Each piece of TZ BATIKS fabric is one of a kind as they hand dye, design, and draw animals/designs on the fabric. Some fabrics are created with a stamp technique which the stamp is hand carved from wood or firm sponge.
