Liz Berg Art Quilts I really enjoy color and have moved from using commercial fabrics (although they still are included at times) and now paint or dye the fabrics that I use. I am also incorporating rubber stamping, foiling, discharge and resist work in my fabrics-- with metallic, opalescent, iridescent and interference paints all included. Elements from nature are included in the design. Colors tend to follow triadic combinations, I work intuitively and spontaneously most of the time, although I usually have a clear idea of where I want the piece to go- I particularly enjoy incorporating multiple levels of depth to my work, bringing one in closer and closer to see more detail.
